Who is this guy ChatBob?

I know that if I had someone asking me to become a member of his "Family Friendly" chat network, I sure would want to know more about who it is I am dealing with. In addition to wanting to assure myself he's not another one of those "cyber-weirdoes" I keep hearing about on the 6 o'clock news, I would want to know if he has even had a "Family Friendly" life experience. Truth is, I would want to know him a lot better before I give him all that personal information he wants from me in order to join his little chat community. Besides, how did he get that dumb nickname "ChatBob" anyhow?

Well, lets get that dumb name thing out of the way right up front. Believe it or not, it is for real. I got the nickname from my early days as a "chataholic" AOL user. Folks, we are talking about days not too long ago in which as a result of my chatting addiction I was cranking through $200+ monthly bills from AOL. Needless to say, when you spend that much time and money chatting on the net and your name is Bob, some wise guy is going to get real creative and stick you with the name ChatBob. Does any of this sound familiar to any of you?

Exactly, just who is this ChatBob guy? Is he for real? What does he know about chatting on the web? Does he really know anything about "families" and this "Family Friendly" thing?
